Velvet is 15 hands high. She is a very trusting mare, anyone can ride her. Velvet is a mare that you can ride any time. Even if it is a year later you will have no trouble with her. Velvet is one of those all-round wonderful mares to have.
Velvet's maternal sire is Dallas Bug. Velvet has lots of running quarter horses that has accomplished in racing plus her thoroughbred side.

Velvet is William's 4H horse this season. WOW what a great mare she is. Velvet hasn't been in an indoor arena for about 13 years plus this is her first time with a noodle.

You could call Shady a range mare with very little training/trust for people when we bought her. Now she comes up to me for oats in a pail plus I can pet her on her side and back. She is still pretty head shy.
Her sire is The Old Oak Tree and her dam is Watch A Shady Lady

Shady is a great granddaughter to Three Bars (twice), Top Breeze, Big Al.
